We’re happy to share that Single Sign-On (SSO) is now available for OneCal. Whether you’re a small team or a large company, you can connect your identity provider to OneCal and let people sign in with the account they already use every day.

Why SSO

SSO gives your team one secure way to sign in, with full control for admins:

  • One login for everything. People sign in with the same account they use for the rest of their tools.
  • Control who can sign in. If someone is removed from your identity provider, they can no longer access OneCal.
  • Better security. MFA and other rules from your identity provider apply to OneCal automatically.
  • Cleaner audit trail. Sign-in activity shows up in the same logs as the rest of your tools.

How it works

OneCal’s SSO supports both SAML 2.0 and OIDC, so it works with the identity providers most teams already use:

  • Okta
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Google Workspace
  • OneLogin
  • JumpCloud
  • Auth0
  • Any SAML 2.0 or OIDC provider

No matter which one you use, setup on the OneCal side stays the same.

What you get

  • Sign in with the account you already have. Your team uses the same identity provider login they use for everything else, no extra account to remember.
  • Works with SAML 2.0 and OIDC. Whichever protocol your identity provider supports, OneCal handles it.
  • Straightforward admin setup. Admins fill in the connection details from their identity provider, and OneCal takes care of the rest.

Getting started

SSO is available on all OneCal plans. If you’re ready to connect your identity provider:

  1. Email us at contact@onecal.io and we’ll turn on SSO for your workspace.
  2. We’ll send you your ACS URL, Entity ID, and setup steps.
  3. Add OneCal in your identity provider, upload the metadata, and you’re done.

What’s next

This is just the start. Directory Sync with SCIM is coming next, so users will be added and removed in OneCal automatically when you make changes in your identity provider. The connection you set up today will work with Directory Sync when it ships.

If you’ve been waiting for SSO to roll OneCal out to your team, now’s a great time. Get in touch and we’ll help you set it up.
